Our Hall

The hall sits in the corner of a 9.4 acre site, which is a mix of open space and wooded areas.

The car park is very large and can comfortably accommodate up to 35 cars. To the side of the car park is a lovely play park for children and a mowed field suitable for football.

The hall itself is 105m2 (8.2m x 12.8m) with a ‘stage area’ offering an additional 27m2 (6m x 4.5m). This can be closed off for smaller events or used as additional space if needed. There is a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, double oven, gas hob, wall-mounted water heater and a large selection of crockery, cutlery and glassware.

We have a smaller room suitable for meetings, which comfortably seats 8-10 around a central table (another table can be added to seat more people). This opens onto the stage area of the hall through a separate door. People have used this as a ‘backstage’ area for concerts, theatre productions and every December becomes the place where Father Christmas conceals himself before meeting his adoring fans!

The hall is wheelchair accessible and has toilet facilities as well as a disabled loo and separate nappy changing room. There is a good size cloakroom off the entrance hall.

Behind the hall is a private fenced-off garden with a small copse of trees. This is a perfect space to extend summer parties outside, for children to play or to put up a tent or gazebo for extra space.

To one side of the field lies the attractive village allotments which are well used and productive.

There are beautiful walks directly from the car park without the need to cross a road; perfect for keen ramblers and dog walkers.

Dimensions of the hall and back garden:
1) The interior of the hall is 13m long, 8m wide, and 3.3m high.
2) The back garden is 20.6m long and 14.2m wide. There is a patio area
within the back garden, next to the hall. The patio area is 8.4m along the
hall and 3.6m away from the hall.
